I want to torture you. I used to love it, and it's been a long time. I mean, the last time I tortured someone, they didn't even have chainsaws.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

Huh. I hadn't heard that about Gugino in Justified. Great! Instant headcanon it is!

I've actually liked J-Ro a lot in a few movies, mostly where she was meant to be hugely unsympathetic. I know there are a lot of people who hate it, but I freakin' adore My Best Friend's Wedding because her character is such a blind trainwreck. She's destructive and self-obsessed, but I thought the scene where she confesses her feelings (and have them blown up on her face) was just terrific. Not to mention the denouement, which dares to go counter to decades of "Platonic Girl/Boy BFF but Secretly Meant To Be" tradition.

Another one I adored was Duplicity. Roberts and Clive Owen were super fun together, and the script was witty and smart. I was quite sad that it did not do well in Box Office, because I wanted more movies like that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I liked Duplicity!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Is that Justified spoiler s2 or s3?

Vonnie, I am with you on MBFW. I felt for her and I loved the ending. "By god, there'll be dancing!"

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

How can you not love a movie with Rupert Everett leading a singalong to a Dionne Warwick song?

Because books.

I'm not a JR hater, but Rupert Everett was definitely the best part of that movie.

S3, but only a little.

Early S3. Sorry, my bad -- maybe I should have spoiler-fonted the whole thing.

My favourite bit is the employees doing the hand-wave-in-air thing with their lobster mitts during the chorus. Hee! Also, Susan Sullivan has not aged a day in 15 years since that movie to Castle.

Vonnie, I don't care that I know she was in it. Just trying to figure out if I should read it or not.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

Even though I'm not really a Roberts fan, I like Best Friend's Wedding a lot. oh, sorry, seemed like it had been a while...I've watched a lot of Justified in a very short time(The sacrifices I make for my art. And to keep up with all y'all.) so I've lost track of who might have seen what when.

brillig

I feel like I should see My Best Friend's Wedding because I was working at the Huntington Library when they were filming there, and we were told we couldn't wander around and bother the stars. The staff just shrugged and said "Whatever."
