Ha! So awesome.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

You know what I want Pixar to make? Finding Nemo 2. Where Nemo grows up to be a girl.
(billytea may have to back me on this, but I'm pretty sure all clown fish are born male and some of them become female).

Didn't someone link to fic about this at one point?
all clown fish are born male and some of them become female
Also, total size queens.
Each group of fish consists of a breeding pair and 0-4 non-breeders. Within each group there is a size-based hierarchy: the female is largest, the breeding male is second largest, and the male non-breeders get progressively smaller as the hierarchy descends.[6] They exhibit protandry, meaning each fish is born male, but will only change to female if the sole breeding female dies. If the female dies, the breeding male changes sex, becomes the breeding female and the largest non-breeder becomes the breeding male.
There's a user review for 9 on IMDB, and it isn't very flattering.
Hee. Zach Oat breaks down the Pixar formula.
Speaking of which, I went to the AMC Bay theater in Emeryville (next doorish to Pixar) and when I was getting tickets for Star Trek they had an option for UP!
I think they must've been showing a preview. I was tempted to ditch the Trek.
But we saw Star Trek and Emmett thought it was very cool. He's never seen the show.
I think it's time to introduce him to CBS.com. Tonight I watched Kirk build a bazooka out of shit he found on the ground.
We're watching Ordinary People and I just realized that one of Conrad's friends is played by Adam Baldwin! He looks like he's 15 years old.

If by friend you mean "total asshole" that was the character he played. But he got punched in the nose for his trouble.
He grew a lot between Ordinary People and My Bodyguard. Throw in Full Metal Jacket and you're talking about a pretty long and interesting career, really.
