A very compelling argument for what order in which to view the Star Wars films:
Definitely compelling. Tried explaining his views to the guys at work and they weren't buying. But that's more my poor salesmanship than a flaw in his arguement. They didn't want to accept the idea of axing an entire movie, even when they agreed nothing important really happened in it.
ETA: Whereas I'm completely onboard with tossing entire movies on the scrapheap (see: Matrix sequels, Highlander sequels, etc).
I think Wee Anakin is adorable. So there.

There's a little boy in Ryan's childcare called Anakin.
That's just asking for trouble that is.
I'm always amused when I meet grade-schoolers named Xander. Especially the one whose sister was named Willow.
I'll put TPM back into viewing rotation when someone has created an edit which removes all of the thinly veiled racist stereotypes. Cutting out Jar-Jar barely scratches the surface.

Didn't the Phantom Edit do that by making the Trade Federation and Gungans speak their own subtitled language? Or at least, that helped with the worst of it.

Indeed. Still beats finding there's a kid in childcare called Jar Jar.
I'm totally following the Machete order with Calvin, when he gets to Star Wars age.
New Avengers trailer!! I can't wait to see all these superheroes beat the shit out of each other.
