Yeah. I think I'm officially done giving two craps about anything he says or does at this point.

Then I tried to watch Phantom Menace with Dylan a couple of weeks ago (he asked to see a Star Wars movie he hadn't seen before). I thought there was no way it could be as bad as I remembered. Surely I had just built up an exaggerated and unfair caricature based on years of fannish mocking? It was probably just an average juvenile action movie, right?

I tried watching it a few years ago and after 30 minutes I ended up just fast-forwarding to the lightsaber fights.

smonster, that first actual video clip part? Kinda made me want to work out, too. (Largely because it looked REALLY hot and I'd like to be able to do that.)

I usually find Tom Hardy aesthetically pleasing and engaging as an actor, but with the possible exception of that clip, I don't find him RAAR! GIMME!

I usually find Hardy somewhat hot when he has hair, but close-shaven exposes that tilted egg dome that is somehow very dashing on Patrick Stewart yet not at all on him.

My god, if Project X had come out before Chronicle, I might have missed out on a good movie, because the mere idea of pissy teens and found footage might give associations I couldn't shake. That movie looks *so* irritating. I can only hope it ends in a fireball, but what do you do for the preceding 90 minutes?

Anyone here normally use fandango for movie tickets? I find myself suddenly (since last Sat) slung over to their site for AMC tickets (although, last week, none of the purchases actually went through....hmmm....). And I'm not receptive to the change.

Having seen Clash of the Titans, OMG, no--Project X is way way higher on the must-avoid list than anything in that franchise.

How about the upcoming Madea's Witness Protection? (Best I can do. I'm sure Uwe Boll is working on some movie, but I'm not masochistic enough to go looking for it.)

No, I'd rather watch Good Deeds than those pricks cavorting and angling within some contempt-inducing high school hierarchy.

You're pretty much going to have to destroy an already-loved franchise or character to raise my hackles the same amount.
