What? I didn't know they had recast. I loved Edward Norton in the role! Not happy.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
I raved about The Artist about a month ago, I think. Whenever the screening was, anyway. It's completely wonderful.

Anyone else besides Jilli gonna see this? I probably will.
Sunil, always like your reviews. Glad someone besides me was underwhelmed by Buckeroo Banzai and Blazing Saddles.

Absolutely. I've loved Dark Shadows since I watched in the afternoons after school. I even watched the 90s remake!
Blazing Saddles has always been a big meh for me. Young Frankenstein is a better film in almost every conceivable way.
Buckaroo Banzai is just so awesome though.

Agreed. Also, Peter Boyle was one of the best monsters (comic or not) ever, and the ending where they fixed his brain was inspired.
Buckaroo Banzai is just so awesome though.
Also agreed.
No, no, no, don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to.

I lost it when Madeline Kahn came in the door at the end to reveal her new hairdo: [link]

Polter probably doesn't appreciate Big Trouble in Little China, either t supercilious sniff . Ah, well, perfect agreement is boring, anyway.
