How the
little red book was some sort of cipher for the location money and Mary knew how to decode it and there was money somewhere in pages and they gave it to the Inspector
or something?
Sometimes I forget that
in the olden days, when you had gobs of money, it could be physically taken away from you!
I just watched
Mulholland Dr.
For most of the movie, I was like, okay, this is interesting and a little weird, and there are a couple subplots that don't make sense, but I'm generally following the story.
And then.
It was a twist, P-Cow! There's actually a pretty famous article on Salon that explains it if you don't want to fret about it.
I read that very article!
I just got back from seeing Hugo in 3D. I liked a lot of it, but I wish the stories of the kid and Milies were better integrated at the end. they sort of became separate stories at some point.
P-C, about Watson's wife:
My assumption is that along with getting the red notebook to her, Holmes also told her the key was in the Horticulture book and she was bright enough to decipher it and enlist Lastrad in securing it. I thought it was nice that they gave her something important to do.
I just watched
Die Hard
for the first time in years, and, damn, that is a fantastic goddamn movie.
Last year in December there was a incomparable podcast ep on Die Hard that you might like.
That was not me, but it looks like fun! Rick Yune, Rain, and Naomie Harris? How odd.
Crap, what movie was I thinking of? I have a vague memory of you linking to a pic of a ripped action hottie, and I thought there was a specific movie associated. Hmph.
Die Hard 2
really is inferior, especially watching it right afterward. It feels more like a mindless action movie, nothing really special. Still fun, though.
