Very excited about the Hobbit trailer. It's going to be a long 12 months to wait.
Glad they're keeping (at least some of) the songs. Though I could do without the elf song as they enter Rivendell (unless they change it to Elvish.) It's way too Keebler-elfy for my tastes, if that makes any sense.
I wonder if they'll keep the goblin songs. "Fifteen birds/ in five fir trees/ Their feathers were fanned/ in a fiery breeze..."
An art film house RIGHT DOWN THE STREET.
Laemmle - now there's a name resonant of film history. I'd love to have something like that on my doorstep. What did you see, Scrappy?

Right? They better pull out the stops for Halloween with a Universal Horror fest.
I loved the Laemmle in Pasadena.
Blood and Roses (1960), the original lesbian vampire movie.
Dracula's Daughter (1936) doesn't count?

Hmmm. Here's a song written for The Hunger Games. Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars. I really dislike Taylor Swift, so I'm having a hard time deciding if I like it. It doesn't sound like her normal stuff.
Oh, the Civil Wars are so great! I will have to listen to that pronto. (I actually like Taylor Swift just fine)
