Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's weird (okay, maybe not), but I never had any ill wishes towards RDJ. Cruise and Gibson and Sheen have gone that extra mile to make themselves so fucking unsympathetic as well as falling down holes, that I could care less if they ever clean up their respective acts.

But RDJ? I was rooting for.

I was also rooting for LiLo, but fuck, I'm tired of that.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

She seems quite determined to be a mess. But then, Drew Barrymore was too.

Because books.

But RDJ? I was rooting for.

Me, too. And none of his behavior was ever *for* the public, as far as I recall, the way Sheen's has been.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, I feel like RDJ would go away when he was really fucked up, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

My issues with RDJ are mostly of the failing-to-entertain-me variety. (Well, OK, I do side-eye that Rolling Stone interview where he went backsies on his former presentation of bisexuality. Sure dude, that was a calculated PR move... because bisexual male actors had so many more opportunities than straight ones back in 1980s Hollywood...) I'm glad he overcame his addiction problems and got his life back on track; I just haven't really enjoyed a performance of his since Home for the Holidays.

RDJ continually provides me bang for my movie going buck. I'm a happy little consumer. I think he's sexy and funny as shit, and makes a much better action hero than I'd ever have predicted (even though we don't see *him* doing most of the action).

Hunger Games poster put together from bunches of puzzle pieces. That's the magic of the internet. Someone does the grunt work for you.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

MUPPETS! We just saw the new Muppet Movie. Yep, still want to be a regular on the Muppet Show when I grow up.

Gah, he SO is. I even liked him when he was on Ally McBeal back in the day. (Shut up.)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Tep, so did I. YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

Sure dude, that was a calculated PR move... because bisexual male actors had so many more opportunities than straight ones back in 1980s Hollywood...) Yeah. And he NEVER appears to have a strong appreciation for the fine forms of his male co-stars. Mmm-hmm.

But I like watching him on screen, even when he's phoning it in, because he's got charisma.

And there are enough stories of him being a mensch without the publicity machines around that I've got a fondness for him that's at about the Keanu level.
