Wait until I read, and then watch?
I tried. I tried really hard. And the first, like, TWO HUNDRED PAGES are so fucking boring, I couldn't do it.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well, given my reading issues, that pretty much wraps it up.

Oh my god, all the stuff about the FINANCIAL SYSTEM. What the hell? That's where I gave up.
I really liked the first movie. Cool procedural approach to a mystery, interesting/creepy villainy, great landscape, fantastic female lead, and a very Silence of the Lambs vibe.
I liked the first movie too. I don't think I've seen the other two. (I think that they're on Netflix now, right?)
I heard Lisbeth and the rest of the book were worth it, but I just didn't care anymore. I'll see the movies, because, hey, Daniel Craig, but I gave up on the books.

I'll see the new movie, but the original movie is great and worth checking out. Noomi Rapace gives an incredible performance.

I'm not so sure about that. I forced my way through all three, but I was so angry about it by the end of the third one, when something ACTUALLY HAPPENED, that it was too late. I'm sure they make great movies, though!
Jesse validates my decision! Whoot!
I'm still angry to have read all three of those books.
