If they're setting the movie in the US, there's no reason Asian people can't be in it, but it's statistically unlikely that Neo New York would be all Asian in an American movie.
Sorry. I'm just a little grumpy at the idea that American movie makers have a responsibility here to make an Asian movie, when The Departed didn't have to be Asian, and Black Cat didn't have to be white.
This guy (currently playing Zachary Quinto's boyfriend on American Horror Story) would make an excellent Finnick, I think.
Oh, fuck, I love him. Does he make out with Quinto? Why am I not watching that show?
No making out, but
we did just see his naked ass, and heard him talking about liking leather over latex
. Mmm.
damn.
maybe I need to start watching this show.
Quinto's boyfriend is hot.
Did the casting people not realize he's Asian? I thought their mission statement was to completely whitewash the movie...
It's okay because the Colonel is a bad guy, and antagonists are allowed to be Asian.
This guy's pretty enough to be Finnick. [link]
Anyone know if he can actually act?
Red Dawn has been given a release date of 2nd Nov, 2012. Not long to wait at all.
I hadn't realised Adrianne Palicki was in it. Jess and John together for the first time!
Saw
Hugo
yesterday and LOVED it. Gorgeous, smart, rich with all kinds of allusions and secret jokes. It works wonderfully in 3-D and I am SO looking forward to seeing it again.
I'm dying to see that, Scrappy, and I think Sara would love it, but since we're doing movies with my five-year-old niece, too, who is a little more sheltered and easily scared, we're doing The Muppets on Saturday. Which I want to see, too, because Muppets! But Hugo looks fantastic.
