I like Zac Efron. And not just because he's Chibi!Simon. I think he's charismatic and hella cute. His movie with Chandler was really adorable. I think he gets short shrift. He's not going to win any awards any time soon, but he's really pretty, acts decently, and can dance up a storm. I'd have watched Footloose if he'd stayed on the movie.

His movie with Chandler
You mean Ms. Chanandler Bong?
The one, the only.
Oh, where they switched ages? That did look cute.
I saw that flick. It was fun. I think I would have liked Footloose better with him in the lead.
I want to see him switch it up -- take a role as a drug dealer or a pimp or something. That would be fun. For me, anyway.
A singing dancing pimping drug dealer?
You write the script and I'll let you know.
I'm dying to go to a movie in a theater. What's out and good right now?
I guess we'll have to agree to disagree re. Efron. He's pretty and a good dancer, but I think he's got very little range as an actor. I actually can't recall much about him from the body-switch movie, which I'd seen at some point, but now I remember he was rather cute in Hairspray. But Finnick? Too complicated and broken for Efron. YMMV.
Also, something about his face bothers me. He's got the same kind of plasticine prettiness Tom Welling has that totally creeps me out, like a pretty doll with nothing behind the eyes. (And I know plenty of people disagree with me re. Welling, so there you go.)
Amy, yesterday's Footloose excursion was my first time in a theater for quite a while. Maybe since the last HP movie.
Unfortunately I know when I'll be going next. I'm sure I've mentioned that my darling, smart daughter has a thing for the Twilight series. She thinks the last book is beyond rediculous but we are both completists, so I'm sure we will be seeing the next movie, probably at the midnight release. Please judge. I judge myself. I feel like I'm stuck watching a trainwreak waiting for it to just be OVER.
