Yes, it's terribly simple. The good guys are always stalwart and true, the bad guys are easily distinguished by their pointy horns or black hats, and, uh, we always defeat them and save the day. No one ever dies, and everybody lives happily ever after.

Because books.

I love Jude Law. I just ignore everything about his personal life. Or I cling to Paul Bettany when I really need a blonde.

Only when you can pry him away from me.

Assumes karate stance. Let's go...

ION I saw the new Footloose last night. It was entertaining, but it was a pure remake with very little change. And some of the changes were just stupid. But I didn't hate it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I like Zac Efron. And not just because he's Chibi!Simon. I think he's charismatic and hella cute. His movie with Chandler was really adorable. I think he gets short shrift. He's not going to win any awards any time soon, but he's really pretty, acts decently, and can dance up a storm. I'd have watched Footloose if he'd stayed on the movie.

I saw that flick. It was fun. I think I would have liked Footloose better with him in the lead.

I want to see him switch it up -- take a role as a drug dealer or a pimp or something. That would be fun. For me, anyway.
