Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Piranha 3D, Glee 3D -- have there been any other recent releases with no 2D versions?

Conan is finally getting me to 3D. I'd considered it, truth, but we just can't find a convenient showing in 2D. This is LA. There should be one near me. That ain't right.

hwæt

Is it a bad migraine trigger for you? I can't believe that no one makes glasses where both lenses are polarized in the same direction, which would downconvert it back to 2d.

I've never seen a 3D movie with the current technologies, so I don't know. We will find out.

You know, if I'm going to have a headache anyway, this might as well be the way to go.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So, in my continuing project of watching high school movies with Emmett this summer we recently watched Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Dazed and Confused.

A few notes on casting.

I forget every time I watch Fast Times that it not only has Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates and Jennifer Jason Leigh, but also Forest Whitaker, Nicholas Cage, Eric Stoltz and Anthony Edwards.

While watching Dazed and Confused I was wondering what happened to the other two of the "smart kids" who hang out with Adam Goldberg's character. Looking them up, I found out the blond dude is Anthony Rapp (very famous for his role in Rent) and the red-headed girl (Marissa Ribisi, Giovanni's twin sister) is married to Beck! They have two kids. Wacky.

I forget every time I watch Fast Times that it not only has Sean Penn, Phoebe Cates and Jennifer Jason Leigh, but also Nicholas Cage, Eric Stoltz and Anthony Edwards.

And Judge Reinhold.

Good casting!

It's up there with The Outsiders and Dazed and Confused for superabundance of future stars.
