Hey. New board.

Crazy Stupid Love is rather great. Highly recommend. Very good performances all around.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Oh, Gris, really? Good to know, for my Gosling love is mighty.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, all I've seen are great reviews.

Hey. New board.

Gosling is great in it. And Emma Stone is her usual amazingly watchable self. Carrell hits the loveable side of Michael Scott and a bit of the cluelessness, but keeps the awkwardness far away and so becomes immensely loveable. And the children are excellent too, and play a larger part than you might imagine going in. It's one of the better romantic comedies I've seen in a long time.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

AND the girl who looks like she's in high school, from the ads, is Analeigh from Top Model! For anyone for whom that's a draw...

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

So I saw Cowboys and Aliens. And it was fun, and actiony, and shots of Daniel Craig with his shirt off, which I understand appeal to some here. And even aside from that, it was good.

But those of you with big hot-buttons about women in significant roles may want to pass. Olivia Wilde is really good, and may have more agency here than she did in Tron, although the actually an alien thing bugs there. But it seems like Hollywood is still struggling with the idea that a movie can have more than one woman be an actual character.

Also, in my head-canon? About ten miles out of town, Ella shows up in her real body, in the ship she arrived in, and demonstrates some of the more positive aspects of alien abduction for Jake, and they leave to explore the universe.

So Dungeons & Dragons just showed up on SyFy.

This movie is completely ill-advised. Jeremy Irons has been in some really crappy movies. Holy cow.

Oh my God. Seriously. How did this get released in theaters? Why would you put Marlon Wayans in...anything?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Also, in my head-canon?

Heh. That would be fun.

I just got back from Cowboys and Aliens myself. It was OK. Worth the $5, I guess.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Just got back from Cap. Overall I had a good time. Some issues arose but I was able to adjust my suspenders of disbelief to fit.

I love Howard Stark!

I was really disappointed by the post-credit sequence.
