We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Raq, re: your whitefont Also, what ever came of the good guys getting a sample of Cosmic Cube Juice?, do you mean when Howard Stark found the cube ? I assumed that would be addressed in The Avengers.

ita, yes, and he didn't die, either!!

Steph, it's somewhat tied to the storyline. Whether that bit is true to Capt. America canon, I have no idea.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Loki is the bad guy for the Avengers, so the cosmic cube guesses make sense.

Also I watched HP 7.1 last night with my roommate. Damn, I've forgotten so much of what happened in that book. I expected Hedwig's death, but had forgotten about MadEye and Dobby . Now to see 7.2.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm not sure what I was expecting from Cowboys and Aliens, but meh, what a huge disappointment.

Mainly it was just boring. I wasn't expecting boring.

Makes me wonder: How much of what was good about Iron Man was Favreau getting out of the way and letting RDjr improvise? I doubt the same strategy of letting Daniel Craig and Harrison Ford carry the film with the force of their charisma would work here.

Based on what I saw in the film, my guess would be those two did not get along well off set. It would have been a very different movie if the two male leads had been able/allowed to play off each other more - Craig and Ford had ZERO spark.

move out and draw fire

That's a shame, because something called Cowboys and Aliens really should be awesome.

I mentioned liking the flying wing design being included, but the DH thought it was just "a futuristic look from the past."

Then he mentioned liking the Norway bit, since that's where the Nazis did their heavy water work, and I thought it was just to tie in the plot to Thor and The Avengers.

So all in all, good job Marvel.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I will continue to enjoy 3-D at theme parks where it comes in 3 minute doses and when the technology exists to have short sequences of longer 2-D films in 3-D I will try that too. It hurts too much for me to sit through a feature film. I'm glad I saw Coraline but that was my last one.

Right????

I think I have to file this one next to The Prestige in the "movies that aren't actually that bad but were incredibly disappointing when compared to the movie I was hoping they were going to be."

So, apparently, the creator came up with the name first and tried to sell the film rights, even before the comic book was written. Then he bribed comic stores to sell the book below cost, to make it seem like it was more popular than it was.
