Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Did you see the HP movie that featured that character?
Oh, I watched the movie (Chamber of Secrets). I've just never seen those scenes. Someone warned me beforehand as to where I'd need to shut my eyes. Pete watched it, and let me know when I could open my eyes again. When we got the DVD, Pete watched it first, and then very specifically told me at what point I needed to hit the skip button twice. Because if I only hit skip once, I would be in the middle of the big spider-y discussion. No. No thank you.
Oh, they did? Awesome! I'm getting the dvd from Netflix, I hope that has it on it.
I watched the DVD from Netflix a few weeks ago and there were no extras on it.

The Dudley scene doesn't have all the effects on, but it's a very nice scene nonetheless. I wish they'd found the way to keep that in, as well as the Petunia scene earlier, although I understood they had to go for pacing reasons.
Universal has canceled the ginormous tv/movie adaptation of Dark Tower.
Oooh, that's cool.
