Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

The Dudley scene doesn't have all the effects on, but it's a very nice scene nonetheless. I wish they'd found the way to keep that in, as well as the Petunia scene earlier, although I understood they had to go for pacing reasons.
Universal has canceled the ginormous tv/movie adaptation of Dark Tower.
Oooh, that's cool.
That is cool!
It took me a whole day to remember I wanted to watch the trailer for TDKR, but I just watched it. Is Gordon talking to...Bruce Wayne? It sure seems like it. Which would mean Gordon knows Wayne is Batman. And I don't know how I feel about that.
Yes, despite the fact that, in the comics, he damn well should know by now. (Hell, he *might* know by now, with Batman Inc. and Wayne's public funding of same. I'm a little behind in my reading.)
Where was Bane in that trailer?
Also, I had no idea Bane was even in the old Clooney-era Batman movies. Not as a major player, I guess?
Hunger Games "moving poster".
AWESOME.
Where was Bane in that trailer?
Veeeeery quick flash, basically identical to the first image we saw of him months ago.
Where was Bane in that trailer?
Just a super-quick flash of his face toward then end, and then I assume that's him at the end who we see from the back as he's approaching Batman like they're about to throw down.

Yeah, he was fairly significant. He was in Batman & Robin, and teamed up, inexplicably, with Poison Ivy.

Huh! I saw that movie, and I have no recollection of that character. Just Uma Thurman emoting and The Governator being big and stupid.
