I end up seeing a lot of stuff on instant out of curiosity that I would never have brought home from the video store. Right now I'm watching Ninjas Versus Vampires. It's no Die You Zombie Bastards but it's pretty entertaining. One vampire in particular is quite good but I wish they'd injected more action & humor. Anyway, if you feel the need to Watch All of the Vampire Things, here's another.

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Saw it. Loved it. Neville is Da Man. The End.
(Still outraged that Brian Blessed isn't the Pirate Captain, though.)
I couldn't tell from the trailer, but is that based on those Pirates! books you recommended?
That is a pretty great shanty.
Hey people who have seen the final Harry Potter movie! I have a question for you: during the battle for Hogwarts scenes, how giant spider-iffic is it? I remember that the spiders attack in the books, and I need to know if I'm going to have to close my eyes for a bit. Thank you!
Jilli, I remember seeing the spiders once, very briefly.
Jilli, I concur with Dana's remembrance. Very dealable for you.
Jilli,
Admittedly, I am not very sensitive to them, but I concur with the other comments. At *most* 10-15 seconds of screen time.
And if you need to know exactly when, it's when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are making their epic run across the Hogwarts courtyard.
