Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Knowing that Schwarzenegger is planning a return to cinema with a cross between High Noon and Die Hard just makes me want to stay home and watch Rio Bravo again.
So would that be DIE NOON or HIGH HARD?
I wish it was Die High but alas- The Last Stand.
How did I not know that Taylor Kitsch (Tim Riggins from FNL) was playing John Carter of Mars?
Huh. That ought to be interesting. Or horrifying: I can't decide.

It's the Hyper-Adapter from the Return of Bruce Wayne!
Now I'm imagining what it would look like if Nolan switched up and did a full Morrison story for the last movie. Unfiltered insanity, just to mess with people.

They had me early on with the talk about how they filmed the Tharks and did the architectural design, but then came the removal of the telepathy and the title change to appeal to people who don't like science fiction and the not-scantily-clad-ness... I'm growing increasingly dubious.
