Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Official Hobbit press release. Mark your calendars.

I think I enjoyed Fast Five more than any of the franchise, perhaps even the original. But, yeah, collateral damage up the wazoo. No deaths confirmed, but they had to happen.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I agree. It's easily the best since the original, and it may even be better. It's like they figured out everything that worked about the franchise and distilled it down to AWESOME. What does a Fast and the Furious heist movie look like? Well, it surely ends with A GIANT SAFE BEING TOWED DOWN THE STREETS OF RIO DE JANEIRO.

But, yeah, collateral damage up the wazoo. No deaths confirmed, but they had to happen.

"Did you guys just take out a bank?" Heh.

I like how there's even offscreen drag races (not really spoilery). I mean, they figure they know you know how they work, so take it as written, and they'll save the petrol for a more amazing stunt, which, but the way, is REALLY FUCKING BIG.

That was kind of disappointingly hilarious. It's like, come on, you know they're going to win, we don't really need to show you; we'll save our drag race scene for when it really matters.

Because books.

Donald Sutherland will play President Snow. I think that will really work, actually.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I never would have thought of him, but I think he'll be awesome!

giraffe mode

Yeah, out of all the casting this one is closest to what I had in my head, but like sj, I would not have thought to cast him.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I like that - I remember him as an evil fascist in 1900.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.
