"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Jay Baruchel on not acting so much anymore.

Wow, I can't believe they did a hockey movie in Winnipeg without Guy Maddin's involvement.

His last role was as Nicholas Cage's sidekick in a Disney movie.

Aww, c'mon. He was perfect in Tropic Thunder.

Yeah, Tom Cruise AND Jack Black in a movie pretty much guaranteed that I wouldn't be seeing it.

Heh. It's Tom's best performance since Risky Business, and Jack is a minor character and well used.

He was dropped after insisting on having horses frozen in the rink.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

John Cho joins Total Recall. I don't understand how hallowed some people seem to recall the original. I suppose I'm a Schwarzenegger hater, but I don't think he's been in that many movies that couldn't be improved by taking him out and making them less cheesy (Terminator series being the large exception).

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I could not stand Total Recall. At all. I was angry I paid $$ for it in the theaters when I was in college.

I'm interested to see if it can be made into a good movie.

It's based on a Phillip K. Dick novelette, so in theory there's a decent foundation to build a good film upon. Assuming that Paul Verhoeven and the Governator are kept far, far away.
