That's not what making out sounds like -- unless I'm doing it wrong?

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I'm intrigued by that casting and am going to come right out and say that I'm pleased. I think picking an actor who doesn't fit the appearance of what would think of a kindly, quiet (and sneaky) fashion designer works for the character, IMO.

Plus, I did kind of go to a happy place when I pictured him in Cinna's signature gold eyeliner.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Now I'm wishing they'd casted Aldis Hodge as Cinna.

Because books.

I'm always pleased to see Lenny wherever I can, but I'm still adjusting to him as Cinna.

I never thought of Aldis Hodge -- that could have been fantastic.

And none of us deserving the cruelty or the grace -- Leonard Cohen

I just finished Mockingjay, and I spent the whole time reading the three books picturing Cinna as JGL because smonster planted that idea in my head. (But let's be honest, it's not very difficult at all to plant JGL in my head.)

But now that I think about Lenny Kravitz as Cinna, I like it.

I guess I just think of Lenny Kravitz as too built to be from the Capital. I always thought of the citizens in the capital as weak and thin. I'm happy to be convinced though, I do love me some Kravitz.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

District 1 has Careers. They can't all be slight.

I got home last night and fell over asleep. Mostly dazed today.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

The book description is messing with me. Cinna is supposed to be (I believe) thin and somewhat androgynous (at least with softened features), so Lennie just didn't fit my mental image.

a taller Prince could work, but Kravitz doesn't - in my estimation.
