Went to Bridesmaids last night. Funnier than I expected. Chris O'Dowd is adorable and reminded me of an Irish version of my husband, so I was totes in love with his character. The breakout star is elissa McCarthy. Hilarious. I thought they were going to go wioth Fat Girl = sexually frustrated and angry, but they didn't. Yay.
Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
And the federal marshal is her husband IRL!
That makes it 100 times more cool!
Saw Thor. Would not have complained if he'd had his shirt off more.
Also, can't wait for the clash of egos between him and Iron Man.
THE GOD OF THUNDER DOES NOT NEED A SHIRT.
Sorry. Can't stop saying that. (I know he didn't say it, but it just feels right to me.) Because -- DAYUM, son.
He would have been a fine-looking Thor, definitely.
I wouldn't kick Chris Hemsworth and his hammer out of bed, though.

Kind of uncanny valley for me. They tried too hard to make it look like the comic.

Woah, yeah.

Hmmm. Hard to tell, I think it works for Dupond/Dupont (and Milou of course), but the Capitaine looks awful. The set direction looks cool though.
I'm more concerned that they are remaking The Thin Man.
