'A Hole in the World'

Well, we went to see the movie. It is entertaining and enjoyable (especially if you don't mind seeing things explode a lot), but I would concur that the ending was bad.
I also am not sure how to interpret what happened to Jake's character at the end. When more of you see it, I'd like to ask a few questions.

that's a difficult question to answer. But I would say no.
Huh. I saw a picture that I swear someone drew and they said it was a spoiler for the movie and the guy was bleeding out. Does he recover? Does that just not happen? Why is it difficult? Nature of fairy tales?
Which guy was bleeding out? Jake?
Suffice it to say, your question is complicated, mostly because of tense used and time period.
