I hope you don't think that I just come over for the spells and everything. I mean, I really like just talking and hanging out with you and stuff.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai

A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Huh. I saw a picture that I swear someone drew and they said it was a spoiler for the movie and the guy was bleeding out. Does he recover? Does that just not happen? Why is it difficult? Nature of fairy tales?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Which guy was bleeding out? Jake?

Suffice it to say, your question is complicated, mostly because of tense used and time period.

I don't even know, LeN. Is there a Eugene?

Man, people are really pissed that Serenity beat Blade Runner in an IO9 poll. People really need to take pills that make them chill. Anonymous internet poll on a blog, yo.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I saw Source Code tonight and did not hate the ending. I felt that ending with Colter dying worked as classic drama, but adding the alternate universe was an interesting choice, and it was earned, I thought.
