Yeah, I like Jennifer Garner.

I like Miss Marple.

I would NEVER have thought to put those two together.

Are we sure it's not supposed to be a comedy, like Murder by Death?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Are we sure it's not supposed to be a comedy, like Murder by Death?

With Mark Frost of Twin Peaks writing it? It's possible, I guess. If it was April 1st I'd say we were being punked.

Ann, that's a ferret.

There was a brief series of Miss Marple movies during the '60s. She was definitely not in her 30s or 40s, so they had that in their favor. On the other hand, Miss Marple should not dance the twist.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

For future reference, Movie Stinger tells you if there are credits or post-credits scenes in any given movie.

I was lazy taking the DVD out after watching Slither, so was pleasantly surprised there. I realise I don't watch to the end with rentals as often as I'll hang out in the theatre just to be sure.

move out and draw fire

Random note on race casting and movies-from-books...one of my relations was appalled back in the day when Emma Watson was cast as Hermione. She'd been positive from reading the books that Hermione was black.

I had a very positive reaction to this, until she explained that the reason she'd thought this was that Hermione was described as having bushy hair and prominent teeth.

Sigh.
