Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I loved Stranger Than Fiction, but I understand that I shouldn't extrapolate from that to his larger oeuvre.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Punch Drunk Love, Eternal Sunshine, Truman Show, Wedding Singer. Yes yes yes.

F/C/M: Eternal Sunshine, Spanglish, Stranger Than Fiction.

Ha! And ow.

M: Eternal Sunshine, if I must. F: Spanglish. C: Stranger Than Fiction.

I've heard that Spanglish is not just terrible, but also offensive, so it'd be hate-fucking, I guess. And I've heard that Stranger Than Fiction is pretty good. But I learned from watching Speed that I'd rather be infuriated than bored, and STF looks boring.

Doing Time on Maple Drive

Thank you, Frank!

I'd still like to see Stranger Than Fiction. Even though I won't ever forgive either Ferrell or Kidman for stomping all over Bewitched.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I actually liked Stranger Than Fiction, but more for the Emma Thompson and Queen Latifah than for the Wil Ferrell.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

Also, The Conversation is awesome.

True. I also love The Lady Vanishes.

I'm very impressed that Jean de Florette is on that list.

hwæt

I won't ever forgive either Ferrell or Kidman for stomping all over Bewitched.

That's how I feel about Land of the Lost. When I was seven years old, Land of the Lost was the coolest thing ever. (And in spite of the now-cheesy looking SFX, they had A-list scifi writers working on the show). It's like Ferrell went back in time and spat at my seven-year-old self.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was surprised how much I liked Will Ferrell in Elf. I am pretty fond of Adam Sandler when he isn't turned up to 11, and Man in the Moon was pretty great despite my tepid feelings for both Jim Carrey and Andy Kaufman.

Exactly.

I will say probably no one's going to make the Bewitched movie of my dreams, but what they did was so far off the reservation, it was barely recognizable. Sniffle.
