brillig

Transporter is one of those where random rescued woman falls in immediate lust for her rescuer and sex ensues?

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Well, yes. Along with a hideously trivialized human trafficking plot. But it's got some of the most amazing fight scenes EVER.

See, now I want to pop in the DVD.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw Cedar Rapids last night, and it was cute. Although I expected more -- this is why I kind of hate going to see movies based on good reviews, because my expectations get too high!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I haven't seen 3 yet, so I can't comment on that one.

I haven't seen 3 yet, either, but I heard it was better than 2. I don't remember where I heard that, though, could be my fevered brain making up opinions out of whole cloth.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I own 3, bought it when my local video store closed. Just haven't watched it yet.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Okay, you all were absolutely right: 2 was not that good, but I am not disappointed I watched it because I got to see Stratham take out >10 attackers with a bigass lead pipe and that was more than I was expecting from the movie!

I am now watching Death Race. I have not seen so many marginal action movies in a row in like 10 years.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Wait till you see the bus/motor oil fight scene in 1. Truly a thing of beauty.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Transporter is one of those where random rescued woman falls in immediate lust for her rescuer and sex ensues?

Well, her rescuer is Jason Statham, so it makes complete sense.

And smonster is not lying about the oil. Total pandering, and brilliantly done.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I have no real memories of the so-called "plot" of the Transporter movies. Totally remember the oil fight, though.
