It was a few versions back. At which time he was still too old, and not in a "You can do it anyway, Jon Hamm" sort of way.
Nah, if they had a Jamaican superhero I wouldn't be mad at an American playing him, as long as the accent were flawless. It's superhero shit.
I am still mad about Cool Runnings, though. And there was a distinct lack of flawlessness there too.
I hadn't realised there was a parsec retcon/explanation. I guess that's ubergeek to know it. Which you now all are. Thank me later.
Certainly beats whatever travesty of the character Nicholas Cage would have inflicted on the viewing public.
For his weakness, we could replace kryptonite with bees.
Speaking of Supes, I'm never going to be able to watch Superman Returns after seeing Brandon Routh in Chuck and especially Scott Pilgrim. It's just NEVER going to work.
I think he may always be Todd the vegan to me from now on.
Don't bother anyway...it wasn't good. Somber and ponderous and no fun.

Unlike, Todd the Vegan. An excellent performance.
The Stand to be made into a feature film.
I hope they cast it a little better than the miniseries, although Corin Nemec was perfect as Harold, and I liked Gary Sinise.
I don't know what you're talking about, Amy. Molly Ringwold was inspired casting!
She was pretty good as Franny! But some of the other choices were a little weird.
(i was being facetious. Xander might tell me it sounded a lot like my regular voice.)
it's been a while since i read the book or saw the miniseries. i did buy the ebook after all the King discussion here a few weeks ago, but i haven't gotten around to reading it yet.
Rob Lowe and Molly were the only two I had any issues with. Well, and Laura San Giacomo was WAY OTT, but it fit the role.
