I'm so glad I hadn't seen that scene in any trailers.
The worst part is, they did use it in a trailer I saw. Way to wreck the movie, asshats!
ION, I saw RED tonight. OMG! So much fun. I knew that Malkovich and Mirren (and Brian Cox) would be a hoot, but Mary-Louise Parker almost stole the movie with her I'm-up-for-anything attitude.
ETA - is this like the only movie Rebecca Pidgeon's been in that wasn't a Mamet movie?
PPS - IMDB says close, but not quite.

The scene in the elevator, for example.
Superman cast.
Batman's a Brit, Superman's a Brit, Spiderman grew up in the UK...good god, y'all.
Damn, I love Henry Cavill, though. Mmmm.
These are the actors not the characters right? Cause I'm fine with Brits (or anyone qualified) playing Americans. I mean they are English speaking actors; if they can't do an American accent then the problem isn't their background.
Captain America (at least he's a Yank! Green Lantern's fucking Canadian) on the cover of Empire.
That's fair, Captain America's really the only superhero I would regard as being necessarily American. With the Constitutionally mandated exception of Super President.
I couldn't give a shit what nationality plays who. As long as it's not like you can tell by looking.

Well, there go my plans to re-envision Batman in a cork hat and stubbies.
