Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm miffed that they excluded the Potter Memorial statue and graffiti. Like the missing handshake with Dudley it would have pulled at the heartstrings and had so much emotional payoff.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Oh yeah, Suzi, that was also a thing I was really looking forward to and they biffed it.

That and Luna's room were two of the most affecting things for me in the last book.

Reading your comments makes me glad I don't read the books until after I've seen the relevant films.

I enjoyed it very much, and I even managed to follow most of the plot. I think.

(Though this time around the "where have I seen that actor before?" game kept me pretty distracted).

Anyone who saw Megamind, is there any need to see it in 3D? (We're taking the nieces and nephews tomorrow afternoon and are torn between the old-school talkie and the newfangled tri-dimensional cinematic film.)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Our friend Andy was propmaster on the Green Hornet and saw it last week and said it was lots of fun. It just got obscenely high scores in previews. He's was a bit surprised, as it was not a happy shoot. Not due to Rogen, who he was very surprised to find was a very together and smart guy, but due to tension between Gondry and the Studio.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Steph - Nah. It was pretty fantasmagoric without the 3d.

move out and draw fire

We saw it in 3D, but there was nothing that you needed teh 3D for.

Cool. We already made our plans based on the time for the 2D version, but then I scrolled a little further down the movie theater's page and realized there was a 3D option, but with totally different times.

2D it is!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

2D it is!

It's a classic for a reason!
