Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Our friend Andy was propmaster on the Green Hornet and saw it last week and said it was lots of fun. It just got obscenely high scores in previews. He's was a bit surprised, as it was not a happy shoot. Not due to Rogen, who he was very surprised to find was a very together and smart guy, but due to tension between Gondry and the Studio.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Steph - Nah. It was pretty fantasmagoric without the 3d.

move out and draw fire

We saw it in 3D, but there was nothing that you needed teh 3D for.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Cool. We already made our plans based on the time for the 2D version, but then I scrolled a little further down the movie theater's page and realized there was a 3D option, but with totally different times.

2D it is!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

2D it is!

It's a classic for a reason!

Karen Gillan has been cast as as a time-travelling Juliet in a new film to be directed by David Baddiel. Also cast is Gillian Anderson who will play the dual roles of Karen's mother and the Nurse, and Robert Sheehan plays Romeo in the comedy. Shooting begins in May.

Huh.

(Karen Gillian plays Amy Pond on Doctor Who.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We saw trailers for Green Lantern, Green Hornet and Cowboys and Aliens. All of which looked pretty good.

I have to say Green Hornet looked pretty fun. Rogen's obviously in the best shape of his life and they make it clear he needs a weapon because he doesn't know how to fight.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Green Hornet is Gondry? I'm so there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Green Hornet traitors.

Hey. New board.

Sorry, ita. I think this gamble is going to pay off mostly because there aren't that many people who are really invested in the original. It looks good to me, too. Half Iron Man, half The Tick.
