I'm not sure but Sam Elliott is in it. Netflix thinks I would like it two stars worth but I'm not sure Netflix understands the depths of my love for Sam Elliott.

Buffista Movies 7: Brides for 7 Samurai
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.
Checked Wikipedia. It is indeed that movie. I found the swampy vengeance hilarious (probably unintentional). It warrants an arachnophobe warning sticker though. You will be happy to know that, according to Wikipedia, "Elliott has two "beefcake" scenes in which he removes his shirt". Not that this should in any way influence your decision.
I'm OK with spiders. Any ants?
Heyy it's weird not working in a movie theatre anymore. I just found out Simon Pegg and Nick Frost wrote a movie directed by the same guy who did Adventureland and Superbad. It's scheduled to hit screens in March. I wonder how long we have to wait for the next Blood & Ice Cream flick.

I don't think so. But watch out for their attempt to make lizards menacing. (Not to mention, the eponymous Frogs.)

Paul?
Paul?
That's the one.
wtf Reepicheep? Not that I'm opposed to Simon Pegg getting work but did Eddie Izzard demand too much money?
So far Frogs is awesome...ly bad. Augh lizard! Augh pollution! And that's just the opening credits.
I never saw Frogs. But I do remember Marvel Comics had their own Mad-like Magazine at the time and they did a very funny parody of it. Mostly the people were the monsterous ones and the frogs were commenting ironically. To this day, I think-quote "Ominous, man, real foreboding!" whenever something is, you know, ominous.
eta, was Joan Crawford in that or did I just dream it?
Joan Van Ark aka Gratuitous Leg. Did they really sell onesies for grownups in 1972 or was the costume designer licking the toads?
