Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister has been sending me clips of him from Roseanne and Family freaking Ties. She's trying to make me out to be a perv, just because I thought he was cute in 3rd Rock. Still, she's looking out for me, and I appreciate that.

Amy, have you seen this dance video, and this and Morgan and Destiny’s Eleventeenth Date?

Because books.

I had not! Awesome.

JGL was absolutely my favorite thing about 3rd Rock.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

That's certainly the right movie to contribute toward that end.

NSM for me. Mixed feelings.

move out and draw fire

My teammate just gave me an older version of The Psychotronic Video Guide.

Hec, Frankenbuddha, if you guys haven't got this, you need it.

Oh yeah - I've got the Psychotronic Encyclopedia too. The guy that started up Psychotronic Magazine was one of the original Cleveland punks. I think he was in the Styrenes or one of those early contemporaries of Pere Ubu.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I've got a couple of editions of that, but I never really got around to perusing the magazine itself.

hwæt

Scott Pilgrim: Awesome.

Not 100% satisfied with the way it diverged from the comic; it could have stuck to the story more while still compressing it.

Putting the Ramona/Knives fight at the end was a mistake, and kind of dragged out the climax.

Needed more Allison Pill.

Edgar Wright's comic timing is amazing, and if it doesn't get a best editing Oscar it will be a crime.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Scott Pilgrim: Awesome.

Told you!

Not 100% satisfied with the way it diverged from the comic

My major beef was that in the book, Scott and Ramona defeat Gideon together, and in the movie, Ramona mostly stands around while Scott fights Gideon, and for some reason Knives is the one that saves the day. I'll see if I like it more the second time around.

Needed more Allison Pill.

But of course.

Edgar Wright's comic timing is amazing

How does one evaluate a director's comic timing as opposed to an actor's comic timing?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

perhaps the film editor deserves some credit.
