Willow: Something evil-crashed to earth in this. Then it broke out and slithered away to do badness. Giles: Well, in all fairness, we don't really know about the "slithered" part. Anya: No, no, I'm sure it frisked about like a fluffy lamb.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I totally love The Losers. I don't buy many DVDs these days, but that one I just might.

I dunno; the books & DVDs I own don't feature many happy, well-adjusted women, heroic women. But they don't feature many men like that either. People like that don't usually make for stories I, personally, want to see.

Well, yeah. My favorite fictional character is Starbuck, female version, first 1.5 seasons. It's not the morality of any given female character, it's the complexity and agency that makes her interesting and valuable.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

first 1.5 seasons

it's a crying shame you have to add that in there. It's true, but it's a shame.

The top layer will be "Christopher Nolan is the greatest filmmaker who ever lived," and the bottom layer will be "Christopher Nolan loves me like a son."

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Middle layer: manpain!

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

i've seen Inception three times in the theatre now. could probably go again and not feel too guilty for it. absolutely cannot WAIT until it's out on dvd and i can watch and rewatch Arthur being a badass. plus, i hope we get a "making of" featurette for the hallway scene.

I rewatched The Departed last night. man, that's a great movie. probably Leo's best work. still don't like the ending though. i'm still wondering what was in the envelope Billy gave Madelyn too.

hwæt

still don't like the ending though.

That movie goes on forever. Just when I thought that Scorsese couldn't possibly have any more ass to pull endings out of, he went and proved me wrong.

I just saw The Invention of Lying, and I really liked it! I don't know why it got such bad reviews. It was funny and clever and sweet. And Jennifer Garner was so adorable I just added 13 Going on 30 to my Netflix queue.
