She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

What did she do? Big aww, isn't that cyuuuute smile. "Oh, that's okay, honey."

No. No, it's not. I have to agree with Hec on this one. Be part of the village, back the parent up. The bad manners were rude, but inadvertent, and part of being a parent focused on what's best for the kid.

Except those are two very different situations, in one, you are asking someone to lie, in another, you actually want the truth.

Personally, if you want to lie to make peace with your kid, I get it, and I won't interfere or contradict, but expecting me to also lie is a big deal.

I just saw Wolverine, and... well, it was pretty, I'll give it that.

Yes, I've withdrawn from active participation on this subject, but I will agree when somebody expresses how I feel.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Behold the power of Hugh Jackman's ass!

I saw it today, and the aforementioned rear end (plus a certain cameo near the finale) made it worth the ticket price. But oy, the plot. And the unbelievability of the stunts. I wish someone with a rudimentary understanding of physics had been involved at some point.

Around the third or fourth time Logan looked upwards with clenched fists and screamed at the injustice of it all, I had to fight really hard to avoid yelling "KHAAAAAAAN!!!" in the theater.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Told ya.

It was when tiny!Logan did it in the beginning that I knew exactly what kind of movie I was going to be in for.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

Tell me this, is the bad CGI in the trailers the final rendering?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

yes.

My biggest disappointment was the scene with Wolverine and the helicopter. I thought that was going to be some cool ass shit based on the snippet I saw in the trailers.

Man, what a fuck up. I don't understand how movie professionals can fuck that up either.

I'm not sure what effects from the trailer, but the claw CGI was terrible. More than one instance could have had prosthetics, and it probably would have been cheaper and looked better.
