The Awesome 'Secret' Behind the Music in Inception: [link]
Oh, *very* cool!
A scene from arachnophobia with a sink with a number of spiders.

Y'know, I can't even remember: was Arachnophobia a well-done horror movie? It terrified *ME*, but I have no idea if the movie was scary (or even interestingly-plotted) for people who aren't freaked out by spiders.
(Along the sames lines, there are times that I wonder if I should watch
Poltergeist
and see if it holds up, but then I remember the being so terrified that I didn't sleep for a few days, and decide that I'm not *that* curious.)
And for that I thank you, Pete.

I won't watch it. If I see a spider in the house, I'm not happy, but I can deal. Scenes with many insects of any kind? Nightmare city.
(I didn't *think* Pete, I'm pretty sure.)
When I watched it on the big screen,
Arachnophobia
was the scariest movie I ever saw. I have not been back for a re-watch.
I loved
Arachnophobia.
I thought it was really funny. I haven't seen it in forever, though.
I agree it is also funny, but with lots of
tension build up build up build up SCARE!
I really enjoyed it. I think it's just the creepy spiders that make me not keen for a rewatch.
I suspect
Arachnophobia
won't have aged well but it did have some stand out scenes like when they realized the little spider on the table was actually turning to track the movements of one of the peeps in the room... and of course there's the spider sliding down the body double in the shower scene. That was great fun for my young hormones.
ION, the
Sucker Punch
trailer is insane, and the new
Let Me In
and
The Goon
trailers are awesome.

For serious! Zack Snyder movies do make for awesome trailers. I fall for them EVERY TIME.

This is true. I've enjoyed his movies (yes, even the brainless 300) but the first trailers for 300 and Watchmen were so much more exciting than the movies.
He always gets such great music for them, too. Well, I really don't know whether he has any input in the trailers, but I agree that the first trailers for both those movies were better than the actual movies. I want to watch them over and over. I'm sure I'll be watching this one a bunch too.
