Whereas I was teaching Mal the GL oath this weekend
With all the Inception talk, this made me do a double-take.
A place to talk about movies--old and new, good and bad, high art and high cheese. It's the place to place your kittens on the award winners, gossip about upcoming fims and discuss DVD releases and extras. Spoiler policy: White font all plot-related discussion until a movie's been in wide release two weeks, and keep the major HSQ in white font until two weeks after the video/DVD release.

That is pretty neat.
Seriously cool.
Also, Johnny Marr is in the score somewhere, but I didn't really notice him.
That is pretty nifty.
that musical score stuff was really cool. thanks for the link.
this movie has a whole lot of meta. the meta has meta.
I'm so glad that wasn't obvious, because when I saw the video I was worried it was something everyone but me already knew.
Now I'm back to being just as (un)cool as everyone else.
I'm going to have to just suck it up and play hooky to see Inception so I can check this stuff out.

Jilli should not click that link!
Event Horizon? No. That was a shitty movie.
I like their number one, which reflects recent discussion. I like the placement of Quartermass and the Pit, but not Cloverfield. I haven't seen enough J-Horror to comment on Ju-On, or The Ring (I thought everybody liked Ringu better?).
Pretty good list, though. Nice mix of eras and styles with defensible choices.
