It was in the lower 80s here today, oh, how wonderful that felt. First time in months I have actually enjoyed the temperature.
White chocolate cheesecake in the oven. I made it with gingersnaps in the crust instead of graham crackers, for a little extra spice. I'm going to top it with homemade lime curd and take it to a dinner party on Saturday.
It's in the oven so late because I forgot to get the gingersnaps, so had to make a store run tonight. I was amused that the guy in front of me buying two items - tampons and sanitary napkins. We made eye contact and I smiled. he just shrugged and said "hey, gotta do what you gotta do"
I've never really understood why that should be mortifying.Anyone who's old enough to know what they are knows they're not yours, guys.
OMG, what is it about small boys and their bits, this week? Have just given detention to one of my kids for getting his bits out in the middle of the CORRIDOR! They are way too old to not know that's inappropriate!

this weekend will be interesting. It appears the playwrights wants to pay for rental of top of the line wireless microphones for the new musical. So, we get to install, sus them out, and wire up the actors in all new mics on the last day of rehearsal. And it won't solve the problems of the over-resonating room. All of this assumes they will get here in time for the Saturday rehearsal. :: sigh ::
Have fun this weekend omnis. I'm sure the only thing needed to make it all work perfectly is the addition of a bunch of expensive microphones. Not that those aren't a good piece of the puzzle, but they are just one piece.
