It was stupid, really-- just an email exchange where one friend sent a link to several of us--
I responded that yeah, I'd already seen it (it was the twelve year-old kid from the next round of auditions for Britain's Got Talent) and she responded "Yes, sweetie, we know you know everything and have seen everything first. You win. *g*"
Just kind of startled me. I know she's stressed and under a deadline, but I got the distinct impression she was slapping me down for having more time than her at the moment.
I'm probably just hormonal.

Thanks guys-- I mean, I know I was overreacting and had nothing to feel apologetic for, but like I said it startled me. And when I emailed back, "Uh... sorry?" she responded,
Sorry I was just LOL because every email you send starts with “Yes, I already saw that.” So I give up! You are the goddess of internet/pop culture! Will stop sharing boring, old stories. *g* Am lame, behind the times girl. Sigh.
Which, really? Didn't make me feel any better because again, I felt like she pointing out that I have all this free time she doesn't have and while she may not have meant it, it had the net result of making me feel like a futless loser.
