Ok. Good to know it's not just me. I kind of feel like I'm already changing his environment an awful lot. I don't want him to feel unwanted by someone in his own home.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
vw, that's a red flag. Dogs are not discreet creatures.
I'd say that she doesn't necessarily dislike dogs or would dislike Toto. I think she maybe doesn't like dogs that bark a lot or jump up on you. I'm not too fond of those dog behaviors either and I love dogs!
I would just explain what Toto's like and see if that's something she is okay with. She won't have a chance to meet him/you before making the commitment to move in I take it?
I wish we had a local Grilled Cheese Invitational. It's Wisconsin! We have lots of CHEESE!
What lisah said. I love dogs and have always had one or more in my life, but I don't have any use for obnoxious dogs. It is likely that they would need to meet each other to know how it was going to work. Is that possible?
Oh that sounds glorious, Cash. Mmmmmmmm cheeeeeeese.
Yeah, Cashmere, that was what got me. Though, the more I think about it, the more I think she just misused the word. English is not her first language.
lisah, that's about what my dad is saying. I guess I'll go ahead and meet her friend tonight and see how that goes. I'm just nervous since she won't meet Toto before moving in... I'd rather not be miserable for a year, knowing that he's miserable!

Pretty sure he wouldn't be the one miserable in this situation! He'd go on doing his thing and your roommate and you may be miserable! He wouldn't care. But, really, you should just be as honest as possible about how he behaves and let her make the call.

This was my response to her: "Well, Toto is pretty quiet, except for when he first meets you. He's ten years old, so he's really quieting down. Likes to sleep a lot...especially under the desk in my room or on the futon in the living room."
I figured it gave a little warning and also showed he's allowed on the furniture and stuff. We'll see what happens.
I am so tired today that I'm not entirely sure I'm not dreaming all this.
Send sleep through the intertubes plsthx.
