Huh. I just realized that, if I wanted to, I could become a German citizen just by filling out a form. And going through a bunch of German bureaucracy. I don't think I want to.
I think I'm going to try to get some work done in my office this weekend. I've got stuff I need to do, and there will probably be no annoying questions or drunk people on weekends.
I think the Armenian Genocide wasn't really a one-day thing, the way that Columbine and Oklahoma City and Virginia Tech and Waco were.
Monday is the 10th anniversary of the Columbine shootings. CJ doesn't have school that day, it is a teacher in service day.

ugg. So. That 10 minutes till dinner break. Ya. NSM. Asshat ass't didn't set up the equipment last week, he merely set it out. Nothing labeled, Nothing connected. Nothing. So dinner break was up there doing that. When I confronted him, he was like "I figured we would do that today" or some bullshit. So then I finally get away 2 hours later, and while I go pick up food, all hell breaks loose downstairs. My dept is in ruins. Equipment sucks. Personel Suck. It's a big fucking musical and nothing works. I was given specific instructions to not go over budget, so I'm trying to get everything to work for nothing, and of course failing. Designer is flipping out. And I feel like a fucking useless failure. So boss comes over, and is like "oh, just buy new DI's and 3 new mic elements. It's only $1500." Ya, but I only have $600. "so". SO? SO!!! You fuckin' told me if we go over budget people will get laid off. I sure as hell don't want to get furloughed for a few weeks. so. ugg.
I'm distracting myself with Wiggles videos. These are even weirder than I remembered.

This was the final nail. If we had a replacement for him easily, I might have made it sooner. No more mr nice guy. He's outta work with us.
