I follow my own path. It's the one with the chocolate, and away from anything that remotely resembles "normal people".

Here's to hoping my designer stops being cranky and wanting $20,000 worth of equipment when we only have $6,000 budget.

It may be a holiday, but I can still kick people's ass, and do it from long distance, too. Remember, I now have unsolved cake issues rage with me!

InLessCrankyN, how was everyone's weekend? TCG and I were pretty busy this weekend, but it was fun. And yesterday I got my grandfather's seal of approval on my rice and ricotta pies, which is a pretty big deal for me.

So we sat Em down and told her about my upcoming surgery last night. Her reaction was, "Mommy, I hope it gets all better. If you need me, I'll be with daddy."

vw, you are so not that person. I have the e-mails to prove it. This is a friend (not a buffista) who always e-mails when she needs me to write something for her, which I actually love doing. However, it would be nice to hear from her every once in a while when she doesn't need a favor.
