Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Grant & Green, Columbus Cafe, possibly Crow Bar

Actually, none of these. I know we started and ended at Amante. And Ace's was in there somewhere.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Belated birthday wishes, Suzi love! Sounds like you had an awesome time!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Aimee, I'm glad things are looking less serious regarding your mom. Fwiw, when I had my first acid reflux attack, I totally though it was a heart thing.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Of course I've forgotten Amante and Ace's. There's always a haze.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Fay, so much ~ma for those little ones without their dad.

Aims, I'm so glad that your mom's heart is doing ok.

Askye, bless you for taking in two adult cats, even though it is a challenge. They will adjust, and they will learn to trust and love you. Please have faith in that.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

I'm going to have to take out a student loan for next year. Never had a student loan before, and the information that I'm finding online is confusing. Anyone who's done this before know the basics of what I'm supposed to do?

Hil, I wish I could help, but it's been over 12 years since I've applied, and Al Gore invented the Internets, and they blossomed, and I suspect everything is different. I'd advise talking to your financial aid department. There will be lots of forms. They will require tax forms from the past few years. I think going through the Government is better than through a bank, but that's just me. good luck!

Yeah, I'm planning to go talk to the financial aid people tomorrow. My teaching assistantship runs out after this semester, and my parents said they could help me some, but it's not going to be enough for all my expenses and stuff. What I really need to talk to the financial aid people about is whether I qualify as a "full- or part-time student," since the university just has us register for a one-credit class while we're doing dissertation research.
