Zoe: Next time we smuggle stock, let's make it something smaller. Wash: Yeah, we should start dealing in those black-market beagles.

'Safe'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Ouch, ita. Can I kick the universe for messing with you? I might not be the fearless warrior you happen to be, but I'm pretty sure I can still kick.

ION: Well, it's morning. And the morning of my now prolonged weekend that's after the test season.

Which means, this weekend? No studying for tests (though I'll probably read stuff to find research question, but most of all, because reading is cool and interesting (Oh, Bruno Latour, thank you). It's really weird.

And thanks for the food link!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

welcome back to the land of the internet Shir !!!

Speaking of reading, I really should read some more of the book club book, we meet tomorrow night. The book didn't grab me in the first chapter. And I think the rebel in me is not liking being told what to read. But the need-to-be-social person in me says do it to be social. I hate it when my brain fights with itself.

You're looking at this wrong: you don't read because you have to. You read to rebel better at the future.

I hate it when my brain fights with itself.

Yeah, ha? It's like paper jam with printers. Mind jam.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Nibbles on Shir's spicy brains. Yum!

“Not dead yet!”

Ugh. Had THAT nurse last night. The one who would wait for me to page her for my pain meds rather than bring them on schedule and when she did bring them, would quiz me on my pain level. "On a scale of one to ten would you say your pain is..."

Bitch, please. It hurts, gimme my pills.

ita, hope you're doing better today.

Erin's got a date! Yay!!

{{sj}} How are you doing this morning? You must be emotionally exhausted. I wish there was something I could say. It all sucks so much.

Thank you, Laura. I'm completely numb at the moment. I feel like I should be crying or throwing things, but I can't seem to do anything but just sit here. It seems impossible to me that this wonderful woman is no longer a part of this world.
