eep that sounds... full of possibilities, Kristin.
I'm making banana bread. I just found out we're out of brown sugar. We have white sugar, dark brown corn syrup of dubious age, maple syrup and honey. I was planning to add chocolate chunks
and
butterscotch chips. Maybe I don't need additional sugar. Any ideas?
I have brown sugar that I am trying to teleport to you right now. Is it working?
If teleportation were working I wouldn't be sitting in a chair at an airport, now would I?
brown sugar sub: ( 1 cup brown -- any of the below)
1 cup (215 grams) raw sugar
1 cup (200 grams) white granulated sugar
1 cup (200 grams) white granulated sugar plus 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsulfured light molasses

ND's mom decided she wanted to take the family on a cruise, so she paid for the whole family (ND's sister & husband, niece & boyfriend; the two of us, and mom's caregiver) to spend a week on a cruise ship in the Mexican Riviera. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth--it was amazingly generous and should be fun--but we should have some interesting stories to tell after a week trapped on a boat with the crazy fam.
Well, it definitely won't be a boring vacation.
Oh, Kristin and ND, that should be interesting!
Anne, are you taking it easy? Sending you some tea...
I need some different perspectives. I just took a break and finished the quilt top for CBD's parents housewarming present. I LOVED it until I put the final border on. Now I hate it. Is it just me, or does that last border need to go? Is it too much of that fabric?

I'm pretty sure boring will not be an adjective used to describe the vacation.
vw, I think the quilt is gorgeous!
I have no helpful suggestions on fake nails, but I know someone around here does--Jesse? Someone else has dealt with it too...
