[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

sj, I'm so glad you're going! I am certain you won't regret it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, vw. I know I won't regret it, and I know that I would always regret it if I didn't go.

The status is NOT quo.

I might need to do that. Do zombies have to clear security?

Zombies just eat security.

sj, I'm very glad you're going (though sad I will miss you when you'll be right in town). I think you're right; you would always regret it if you didn't go.

Oatmeal:

{{{Anne}}} Rest, sweetie. It sounds like your body is trying to tell you something.

Laura, that's utterly adorable.

I am highly suspicious of chocolate mouse peeps.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Bitchmind question: my nails are a freaking mess. I started biting them again and they are down to the quick and horribly ragged. I decided to spring for a manicure to cure the biting. I will need some sort of fake thing like gel or something, since the nails are so hideous. I want something which will make them look good now but will not be too horrible growing out. Plus, I like keeping my nails short. Am I asking for the moon here? What should I ask for?

I'm sorry I'm going to miss you too. Where are you headed for your Spring vacation?

ND's mom decided she wanted to take the family on a cruise, so she paid for the whole family (ND's sister & husband, niece & boyfriend; the two of us, and mom's caregiver) to spend a week on a cruise ship in the Mexican Riviera. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth--it was amazingly generous and should be fun--but we should have some interesting stories to tell after a week trapped on a boat with the crazy fam.

Hopefully everyone makes it back.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

eep that sounds... full of possibilities, Kristin.

I'm making banana bread. I just found out we're out of brown sugar. We have white sugar, dark brown corn syrup of dubious age, maple syrup and honey. I was planning to add chocolate chunks and butterscotch chips. Maybe I don't need additional sugar. Any ideas?

I have brown sugar that I am trying to teleport to you right now. Is it working?
