A student who has an average of over 100 emailed me to ask if it would hurt her grade a lot if she just skipped four problems on the homework, because she's having a lot of trouble with them and she has a lot of work for other classes. These problems are worth a total of four points. So far, a bit over halfway through the semester, they've had almost 300 points worth of homework. The homework grade counts for 10% of the total grade.

I'm trying to decide when I want to try to go to bed. I haven't been able to fall asleep the last couple of nights--possibly the only negative effect of breakup to surface as of now. Toss and turn for like three hours. It's so fun. I'm trying to exhaust myself. I'm so exhausted that I'm getting a tired headache, but I don't feel like I'll sleep. Grrr.

It seems my apartment complex lost my utilities check. It was in the same envelope as my rent check. I handed it to the gal when I informed her that I wanted to renew my lease. Something tells me she tossed the envelope with the 2nd check in it. @@ I hope this doesn't become an issue.
