A man in Australia suffered scratched buttocks and shredded underpants wrestling with a kangaroo after it smashed through his bedroom window.
Ok, I admit it. Australians are all exactly like the Crocodile Hunter.
Bear in mind that this took place in Canberra, where I grew up. Garran's a pleasant suburb.
If I could ask for some help, Wallybee's been having a lot of trouble with leg cramps at night. Last night she woke up several times. Does anyone have some ideas on how she might prevent/reduce/alleviate them?

Depending on what position she sleeps in, elevating her feet a little when she sleeps and as much as she can during the day may help.

Eat bananas. Potassium helps prevent leg cramps.

The totally crazy to me People's Pharmacy column in my sunday paper is always touting putting a bar of soap under the sheets near the leg that is cramping. NUTSO! I'm sure one of the pregnant or formerly pregnant or just knowledgeable people here will have some more un-insane suggestions.
Or, yeah, duh bananas.

WTF?
Yes, I echo the bananas and potentially a pillow between the ankles.
WTF?
I KNOW, RIGHT!?!? That column always has the nuttiest advice in it. I keep meaning to write to the paper and talk about how irresponsible it is to publish that kind of nonsense! (But I am very lazy.)
Oh, here they are:

Potassium is generally packages with magnesium and calcium for best effect, in pill form.
My legs tend to cramp a lot, so I do passive stretching by looping a belt or a nylon around my foot and pulling my leg up and out...my doctor's wife had just been on bedrest so he was able to recommend that, is its only connection to pregnancy, but it might help.
Signed Thought I could Never Face Another Banana
Water, too, billytea. Dehydration can also cause leg cramps. I suffered from them with Owen. I used a body pillow to keep stuff elevated.
