I know, world in peril and we have to work together. This is my last office romance, I'll tell you that.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Can someone inform my upstairs neighbors that they do not live in this building alone? Because if I do it, I'm going to need a good alibi.

Goodness, Stephanie. Much health~ma to Ellie and coping~ma to you. I'm glad your mom will be able to come over and help.

Echoing all the health~ma for Ellie and coping~ma for the rest of you.

CJ and I had a nice lunch with a couple of other families from the dojo. He is now over at one of their houses, hanging out with 3 girls. Sounds rough for a 12 year old boy, eh?

SJ, you were here in Dallas. Watching us s-l-o-w-l-y rehearse this new show about steroids in baseball. It's cold in the theater. Let me know if you need more details, k?

(um, what do you look like? In case the cops come asking with a picture, I don't want to go "who is that?")

Lots of healing~ma to Ellie.

I've got a meeting with my advisor tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it. In addition to much else that I know will be aggravating, he's going to look at the brace on my wrist or the ice pack on my shoulder and ask something like, "When is all that going to be over with so that you can concentrate on your work?" Um, never. Permanent condition here.

Hil, can you smack him? That's so inappropriate.

blame the loss of cognitive thought on the pain meds. Just claim you don't remember a thing. With the time change, you took your meds twice or something.

Hee. Strongest pain med I'm on right now is Flexeril. I don't think that causes anything other than drowsiness.

And it looks like I'm meeting with him on Wednesday, anyway. Just got an email from him.

Thanks, everyone.

Your situation has helped us--Christopher was reluctant to have Owen put under to get his 16 cavities filled.

I was thinking about you guys today. I forget why exactly - oh, because we wanted a second opinion on how to treat the tooth pulling but that has so gone by the wayside. (as in, we need to deal with the infection before we start worrying about tooth pulling.)

I call those my stupid pills. They make me so stupid, I just can't stand it. So, maybe you can claim that the stupid made you do it?

{{{Stephanie}}} Since you're here...hell, I'll hug you any time!
